Chilliwack is now on the Chinese Map, Says Mayor Clint Hames
Call it the China connection - and now Chilliwack has it.
Mayor Clint Hames returned from Beijing this week with a signed memorandum of understanding for Chinese students to enrol in the new education/business park at the former CFB Chilliwack property.
"What we went over there to achieve, we achieved and then some," Mayor Hames said yesterday.
The proposed education park in Chilliwack will make it "much easier for business partnerships to work as well because the linkages are all there," he said.
