Would You Use a Shared Car in Chilliwack?
A few years ago few people wouldn't have considered sharing a car or thought it possible to unlock a car with a phone. Times have changed.
Zipcar and other similar programs like the Co-op Auto Network are growing in popularity across North America. Now you can find Zipcars in Vancouver and in major US cities including Seattle, San Francisco, Atlanta, Chicago, New York.
Should Chillwack be added to this list? Are there enough people in this area ready to use a car sharing program to make it worthwhile for ZipCar or the Co-op Auto Network to extend their business outside Vancouver stretch it to, say Abbotsford and Chilliwack? What if we promised to not use the cars to pull farm implements? Yes, maybe then they'd bring their cars
